    Blue Heelers and Austraillian Cattle Dogs!!

    I love them!! I am glad I didn't call them Austrailian shepard this time!! One night on Pet Star on Animal planet there was this very smart blue heeler!!Me and my dad were amazed by what it did!! Did you know that people think they came from Austraila??Couldn't tell by they name could ya?LOL!!

    lol...I remember from a superdogs show...herb williams said that a dog named the australian...something...wasn't from australia..but america...can't remmeber which dog lol maybe cattle dog? shepherd?

    It was the australian shepherd They were made in north america and later traveled to Asutralia where they became popular hereders

    aussie cattle dogs and blue heelers are the same thing, a blue heeler is just a blueish ausrailian cattle dog, trust me. they come in red too.

    What do you mean "real" Australian cattle dogs? All Australian cattle dogs are "real."

    A few years ago, I was driving on a rural road when the truck in front of me slowed and threw something out the window. I pulled over and found Ricky, a beautiful blue heeler. He was approx 5 weeks old. I kept him until about 7 months, but he was really unhappy in town. I gave him to a rancher and he is very happy there. He is the most beautiful heeler I have ever seen. His black spots were pure all the way to the skin. Darn it, I just saw some pics of him the other day and I can't remember where. I'll show you if I find them. He was similar to lovemyshiba's pic of Isabelle, but with more black spots.
