    Development of a plant

    Thought I'd show you the development of a plant we got for Christmas - plus a picture of me and my mum when I was about 5 (I think)

    This took only about a week - and there's one more coming!

    Randi, I was just thinking this afternoon if we share pics and stories about our pets ,why not about the plants we love?

    I am a plantoholic. Unfortunately, I don't have Amaryllis (we call it Hippeastrum also). I managed to make my sister a plant lover too. Her favorite plant is Amaryllis, esp this beautiful red color. I was tempted to buy her one for Christmas, but really, we hardly found some place for our Xmas tree. Need a bigger space for all my plants.
