aly I talked to a vet friend of mine on IRC...he said to clean it and keep it clean but didn't even think polysporin was necessary (used it anyway) I will just watch it carefully for the next few days, make sure it doesn't get infected but I have a feeling I was just over reacting because of the blood spots on the kitchen floor...it's just like when you bang your foot and take a chunk out of it, right? no big deal...will heal fine on it's own
it's not a puncture, there's nothing in it just an open little owie aww

Thanks, he said a vet visit is unnecessary too apparently dogs do this sort of thing alllll the time lol
my first dog cut his paw on broken glass when we were out walking, I had to carry him home and I soaked his paw in warm salty water and it healed up, no probs
i believe i may have put some aloe on it right from my mom's aloe plant. I have some aloe gel in my place but i think it has fragrance in it eww

Lolly did that to her paw before and I took her to the vet. At the very least, call your normal vet in the morning and ask his/her opinion.

Maybe soaking it in epsom salt might help.
