Quick update on my heart. Feeling much better today!

I might get to take the even monitor off tomorrow evening, Monday evening. The monitor order is still registered to the old EP specialist. The new doctors would have to place a new order, so I will call them tomorrow. I made sure the tech manager put info in for the data to be sent to the new docs only.

I am happy to take this thing off, however, I want all the info possible on the ticker.

Heart is still tired, a little trouble breathing, some palpitations. I hope the fluttering can be better controlled so that I can be more active. There are days that I want to sleep all day. That is next on my list.

Also, I will start my job search this week. Wish me luck.

It will be really interesting for you to learn what data the heart monitor has collected, good luck and let us know what the results are!

I agree. I want to know and I will ask for a full explanation that isn't too technical.

    repost from Face Book

Okay so exercise and medication are essential for keeping diabetes under control. So it is understandable that today my blood sugar started to climb and climb. Ear infection, also. The dyes in the heart cath procedure interact with the medicine to harm your kidneys so I was off of the meds 5 days. No exercise for a week so not to reopen the wrist artery.

No wonder I made no sense at at 1:00pm, after lunch at 12:30. 2 hours after lunch my sugar was 189 and that was with the meds which I can now take. I wonder what it was at 1 hour. At 3m I felt better. Then went to the doctor.

No wonder I felt horrible today. Everything hurt including the heart.

Early to bed tonight. I need to get back on schedule.

Is the monitor a heart halter? Just curious!

I am glad you're getting off though! That's great news! Good luck with everything.

Yes, I think. Many types of monitors. I was on it three weeks. It sent information thru a cell phone every few minutes. I was allowed to take it off to shower. The electrodes do not like to stay in place. And the cell phone would have a hissy fit.

Up late, can't sleep. Hungry. And in pain. Don't know why certain parts hurt. Feels like the flu.

On the meds, takes a few days to adjust.

How you feel may well be a result of all the recent poking and prodding. However, even with all that, a person can still get the flu or other things!

Is there a medical emerg number you can call if you are in pain? Please be ok!

I'll be okay. I need to adjust and get back on schedule.

The problem with being sick is the EVERYTHING affects the anti-coagulant, Coumadin. I really need to get off this and try another blood thinner. I'm allergic to nsaids and Tylenol can be dangerous, esp with Coumadin. There are times I feel so thoroughly screwed.

    yes!

I feel better today! Infections make me weird. I am depressed when I wake and feel like I'm on a depressive drug, too. Not so much pain today, a lot clearer in the head, tho still tired. Nausea is gone and I feel like eating.

Going back to sleep to rest some and then start on some projects like job hunting and resume updating. Maybe exercise later in the day!
