    Wildlife Refuge Work

I figured you guys may enjoy some of the pictures I've taken the past three weeks at the Refuge while I've been interning there. It's a bit of a commute down Rt. 70 (for those who know NJ), about an hour and half from me, but I only work 2 days a week from 9-5pm. I wish it were more, but that commute isn't feasible and I can't NOT work over the summer so living there really isn't possible, though offered. I really LOVE it. I can only work with non-rabies animals which reduces me to birds, hawks and raptors, rabbits, opossums and fawns. But that is okay, seeing as how Rabies Vaccs are not covered by insurance and they are about $100 a shot for 3. But anyway, I had some pictures to share that I think you guys would like.

Some little birds! The chickadee didn't make it

Here are two ADORABLE little screech owls!
And the best part, the FAWNS:

My favorite part, these guys are the cutest little things!

I should get some pictures of the opossums, and whenever I release an animal, there will surely be a video.

Wow! Sorry the chickadee didn't make it. But thanks for taking pictures and then showing them to us! How many fawns did they have?

Pictures are beautiful. Creatures are beautiful, too. Enjoy your time there!

Oh, what adorable babies! Thank you.

Sorry the chickadee didn't make it.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
