WOW!!!!!!!!

The U.S. women just finished off the Brazilian women's World Cup team in a game that was so fricking incredible, I still cannot believe what I just saw.

It was a game for the ages and will be a classic, to be talked about for years to come.

The Brazilians were given the game tying goal (1-1) on a penalty to the goalkeeper for moving too soon. The ref handed out a red card to an American player for a foul in the goal box - the Amer GK 'moved' to soon on the first penalty kick and were awarded another chance, which they converted.

The Brazilians went ahead (2-1) on an early 2nd period goal and the U.S. team scored in the last minute of overtime to force a penalty kick showdown which they won, 5-3.


And I really don't follow soccer.

The U.S. Woman's team won the semifinal match against France and will play in the finals against a Japan team that did beat the Americans in pool play.

The game is on Sunday and I know I will be watching!
