    Happy belated birthday shortie girl!!

    Sorry I missed it sweet child 'o mine. I thought it was May 30th (today), but it turns out it was May 20th. You turned 12. I remember the first time we met. It was at a cat show. I was bringing you and another Munchkin back to their respective cages. Little did I know you hated the other cat I was carrying, and you two got into a little tiff. You tried to bolt and I grabbed you on the back to stop you. You bit me. It was LOVE at first sight, my precious one.

    Thank you for entering my life at a time when I needed you most, and you needed me. You were rescued from a bad breeder who kept you in a cage for the first year of your life. You were not used to people and terrified of me. It was the best bite I ever received.

    I hope to have many more years with you! Today you get Fancy Feast!!!

    Shortie and I have been "chilling" in front of the air conditioner. She just LOVES her "Mommy Hammock" (her lying in my shirt with me sitting indian style with my shirt pulled over my knees).
