Oh my goodness, your kitties are so beautiful and healthy.
I am so glad that you joined - we share a lot and also have a lot of fun.
After you have been here for a while you will realize that when we say
we loved "Phred" - we aren't just a 'kidden.............he gave so much to
this site and so much to all of us.
I'm the person in California that had the BBQ's and Phred called the
Fire Department on me........they came out in the middle of the BBQ
with sirens blaring and wanted to know what I was BBQing that was
illegal. He did it several years too.
Such a beautiful person - we do miss him.
Ohhhhh those gray 'n white kitties are heart stealers! (Just ask me, I have one sittin' on my lap. lol)
Your kitties are very beautiful. I don't think I've seen markings like Bibette's! What pretty girls!
Both your girls are gorgeous but Bibette is really unique. I have never seen a cat with her coloring before. Usually a tortie is dark with lighter markings or orange with white markings. She has to be one of a kind!
She definitely is one of a kind. We had lost our Geraldine that had been Mom2's cat for over 20 years and were looking for a two-some. When we went to the local shelter, I spotted Bibette (named "Butter" by shelter people). She was just 2 years old - I believe they might have had her come in with a litter. I, too, am partial to torties - my very first cat was a tortie - and I find their colorings so unique. But her's takes the cake. The black patch that is under her chin is actually a different type of fur, shorter and so much silkier than her orange parts. But she is a little scardi-kat - she went into hiding for 3 days when I brought in our Christmas tree the first Christmas we had her - I nicknamed it the "boogie tree". Once she realized it wasn't going to get her, she got tired of hiding in the bedroom.
Now Lulu - there's nothing that she seems afraid of. She'll walk right up to anyone new coming into the house. Best story was the day the furnace repair man came in with his bucket and winter boots. Bibette was hightailing it down the hallway when she passed Lulu on her way to greet the new visitor. Bibette did a double take, screeched to a halt and turned around. Not wanting to be one-upped by her big sis.
Thanks for checking my girls out.

I enjoyed reading about Bibette and Lulu. Is there anything as entertaining as cats? I am just so taken with Bibette and have gone back to look at her pictures many times. She is one of my all-time favorite cats on PetTalk!
Hello, I just re-read the entire thread. Your cats are so pretty. I'm so glad you have learned how to do photos (smile) as I kept wondering what they looked liked... very pretty... worth the wait. In photo--I have one of those round thingys with the ball in it. It drives Luke nuts because he can't get the ball out LOL. Kay in NC
