Some pics of our zoo visit (more #22 + 23)

Last Monday, we took our annual trip to the zoo of Hannover, and it's been a very nice day (apart from the ending, but that's another story ).

I would like to share some of the pics with you, even though I'm not too happy with the results this time.

    But here they are:

Well, last year, I got better ones, with lots of babies, and great close-ups... But I guess I shouldn't be too picky.

    Thanks!

I'm already looking forward to our next year's visit. They're going to finish the Yukon Bay area in 2010, which should be interesting, and from what I read on their website, they're going to have three more baby elephants next year! Shanti, the baby elephant in one of my photos, was born in 2008, and when I saw him last year, he was only 6 days old, and he was so tiny! Meanwhile, he has grown a lot!

Here's the english version of their website btw: http://www.zoo-hannover.de.

And here's some info on the elephant family.

    This is so funny!

Do you want dressing with that?

The pictures are beautiful, and what a fine collection of animals at the zoo!
