How tragic! What a terrifying ordeal for anyone to have to go thru. My heart breaks for all those that suffered and lost so much.

That's a lot more fire than *I* ever want to see up close!

Wow, that is the most horrific fire pictures I've ever seen!! I hope the fires are totally under control now. I'm glad to read that no one has died.
It's amazing to see that "every other" house burn and then some next to, is untouched.
Sending good thoughts that everyone is safe.

Thanks Kfamr for the signature!
Those photos are incredible. Really gives you the "full picture" of what is it like.
Prayers for all of those people - those who lost homes, had to evacuate, the fire fighters, and the clean up crews who will be working in that area next.
.
Sara, the photos on that site are amazing - I had a look at the ones taken in Antarctica also. Enjoy these: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/200...ntarctica.html

I can't imagine being there when it happens. It's terrible, and so many houses have burnt.
The pictures in themselves are great, of course, and the antarctica ones too!
