Hello everyone,
We have secured 250.00 for Tigers vet expenses fundraiser. We are getting there slowly, but with these donations, we have been able to tell the vet to go ahead and start the IV antibiotics, but remember that this sweet kitty won't get anything from this if the whole amount is not secured. One of the drawbacks of using fundables.com. A lot more is needed to save this little kittie who has been attacked, we think, by a racoon or something of that nature. I now know a few more details about Tiger's condition. Tiger was a feral cat who was dropped near these people's house and they started feeding him, trapped him and had him neutered, and then her daughter finally tamed him enough that they can pet and hold him, but he still will not stay indoors.
This lady came home from work on Friday to find Tiger in a pool of blood on her front porch with his chest from his neck to the mid stomach area completely ripped wide open. I'll spare you the gruesome details, but in any case, he's lucky to be alive after a wound like that. Tiger was rushed to the vet and sewn up and started on IV's to replenish the fluids and blood he lost. His recovery is going to be extensive, but possible. In order to save this little one, we have started a fundraiser on fundable.com for him. Please help us in any way that you can by crossposting to anyone who might be able to help. Thanks so much for your assistance and we will keep you posted on Tiger's condition as he recovers.
