I'd love a tour around the race track, but I'd prefer the Belgium F1 circuit.

When I was young we were visiting my grandparents in Indianapolis. For some reason my mother had to take her parents somewhere and we were left to be entertained by a family friend.

The entertainment was to take us to the track and we rode around the track on the open back of a station wagon.

I have been to the track a few times since, including in Gasoline Alley and the Pits...but nothing compares to that memory!

Well, after the initial buzz wore off, I personally think racing here would
be quite boring, running the same oval track over & over.

I like this virtual ride because it really gives you a real idea how fast
they run.(just watch how fast the road goes by under the car)

And ignore the wall? No Thanks!

Watching the ground is the neat part about riding a motorcycle.

LAst year, Ralph and I went to Indy over Easter and on Sunday visted the Muesum and took the bus tour around the track. Not quite the same has taking it at 200+mph, but still a neat thing to do. And only $3!

When you are driving a car that fast, they really talk about, is it being about vision. I don't know how well it works on a video, but see if you can change your focus to look down the track and where the car is headed. It really makes the car slow down, compared to if you watching the fence where the car is at. It works when you are dicing on the higway too.
