It seems my life is just full of drama!!!


This afternoon my aunt called and ask if i could take her home (she doesn't have a car and she was @ my g-ma's). I said I would and of course as soon as I picked up my keys Bull was @ the door. I didn't figure it would be a problem it was going to be about a 20 min. trip. So me, My aunt, and Bull are on our merry way when about halfway there, it came a downpour. It was so bad I couldn't see, so I decided to stay @ my aunt's til it blew over and of course I couldn't leave the dog in the car so I brought him in not knowing that my Aunt's cats was inside (she didn't know either and the cats had just had kittens) as soon as Bull came in they attacked. As my aunt and cousin grabbed the cats to put outside again I picked up the dog and moved him but there was one cat that they couldn't catch. As I picked the cat up (I had set the dog down of course) she just laid into my hands and I just froze still holding her so of course she just kept attacking til my aunt came and took her from me. I ran to the sink and ran water over my hand and then my aunt wrapped my hands in a towel. I checked on Bull and thankfully he got off better than me with just one little spot on his nose bleeding. Me on the other hand have scratches down my wrist, 2 bites on my right hand by the thumb, and 3 bites on my left hand 1 by my thumb and 2 on my pinky (which is numb I think she hit a nerve).

Well now I'm sitting here waiting for someone to come home to take me to the hospital.

I'm going to go now cuz my hands are hurting.

O I hope your hand is ok. I know how you feel. I was bittin by a stray cat ad had to get the rabies shots . Man was that awfull! I was then bit by my cat Buddy (stilll have scares) and I have to get IV antibotics which was not fun either. I hope nether of these happene to you! Glad you are getting your hand checked otu and I am glad Bull is ok.

Oh my gosh! Cats did that to you??? That is terrible!! How come they were attacking you? Because you were protecting your dog?

I'm fine.

My other aunt (she's a nurse) came by checked out my hands said they will heal in time and that if my finger doesn't regain feeling over the weekend to go see a doc and keep the wounds clean. Thankfully the cats have recently had their shots so rabies are not a problem but if my hand keeps swelling I'll probably drive myself to the hospital tonight.

I guess Baby (the cat) was mad that I got in her way to the dog.

My aunt says she's got to get rid of her though cuz I'm not the first person she's attacked. She attacked my cousins before! She's been looking for a good home for her for sometime though I'm not sure anyone will take a cat that attacks people.

Oh well I'll live!

Sorry to hear this Andy ...! Maybe your cats will act differently once they are rehomed . Let's hope so !!!

OMG, that must have hurt!!

We had to get rid of our cats as they didn't get along with Deisel at all. They would just hide and not come out and if they did, they just attacked Deisel. All animals were terrified!

Didn't think it was good for Deisel or the Cats...so we found a good home for them...our friends took them (which have no dogs) and they are as happy as can be.

Too bad though, they were beautiful cats. 1 was Silver and the other pure black.

Went to the Doctor today (my finger is still numb and swollen) and got some antibiotics.

Well I have limited use of my hand @ the moment but it's getting better. Thanks for all the support you guys!!!!
