I guess I'd have to say 1.Old Yeller, 2.Benji and 3.Where the Red Fern Grows. Lassie is one of my favorites too, but I mainly watched the show not the movies, so that wouldn't count as my favorite movie

Black Beauty is probably my favourite of all time. I also love all the Homeward Bound films, and my third pick would probably be Racing Stripes - gotta love that little shetland pony with the deep voice!
Black Stallion always has been in my heart. (it won the best picture of the year once and how SO true). I love Black Beauty too then third would be.. Flicka! someone gave me that movie because it reminded him of me and I have to agree. I realize all of them has horses in it. any animal movie that has their mouths moving or uses robotic animals are often ingored, it doesn't look natural.
there's also one animal movie I'll never ever forget when I was a little girl but I never knew the title. I've asked every one around for years (except for this place lol) and they always give me the wrong one. it was about a young guy with a disease but then lived longer because he found a passion saving and making friends with animals in the woods...or something. if I ever found it, I'd say it comes in first or second.. been a long time now!
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

Babe
Kaitlyn (the human)
Sadie & Rita (Forever in Our Hearts) (the Labbies)
My top 3, well I kinda have a top 5 :
1) Homeward Bound(both of them!): This might be my favorite movie of all time. I watched these movies SO much as a little kid, I still watch them on occasions. They are so cute. I was so obsessed that I used to print and tape pictures of the animals all over my room. I named Sassy after the cat lol. I love that movie.
2) Lion King (1 and 2)
3) Lady and the tramp (1 and 2)
4) The Fox and the Hound. I LOVE that movie it's so sweet.
5) Milo and Otis.( I don't like how the one guy is the same voice for all of the animals but I still like the concept of the movie.)
Hey, I thought I was the only one! I used to watch the movie every day when I was young. Chance (Sure Gripp's Rattler) Sometimes even graces my desktop still. I recently bought the the movie (1st one) on DVD even though Ihave it on VHS.Originally Posted by Maltese_Love
