Long Shot but need transport from Fredrick, MD, Sunday

Hi all,

We've been working feverishly all day to rescue a dog from West Virginia. To make a very long story a little shorter - we were contacted by someone here in our area that was trying to find foster placement for a dog that was in a high kill shelter in WV. She found a rescue in MD to pull the dog and bring it as far as MD. She is planning on driving from Buffalo to Fredrick, MD to pick up the dog on Sunday. It is a 13 hour round trip for her and we are sending out some feelers to see if there is anyone in the area that would be willing to bring the dog up part of the way to save her some driving time.

Angel is already vaccinated and we will be scheduling her spay when she gets up here and gets settled in. This lovely lady is just a private citizen working hard to save this dog and we are trying to give her as much help as we can. If anyone is available from that area to help, please PM me and I will get you in touch with her.

She is very very cute, and when I heard MD to NY I thought I may be able to help, but it looks like the route would be at least 2 hours west of me. I am sorry. I would be tempted to keep that cutie-pie.

I wish I could help but I'm way down south. I miss transporting dogs to foster homes. Made me feel good getting them out of animal control. I know what you mean about black dogs. Ole Dasher is capturing my heart more every day.
