I hope that it isn't either, that would be such a miserable feeling to be that fat. Don't you think?

If it IS real, those people should be fined for abuse. Overfeeding a cat to that extent SHOULD be criminal!

I doubt that it IS real, though, as I was clicking through the pictures on that site and many of them are digitally manipulated ones.

I doubt that it's real either. I've seen a picture of a cat the size of a medium sized dog being held by it's owner that was digitally manipulated. It's amazing what you can do with digital cameras these days.

I agree, it is our responsibilities as pet owners (parents) to keep our little ones healthy, anything that fat is not healthy (not even comfortable at that matter).

It's actually not the digital cameras, it's software that you use on the computer afterwards that enables manipulation fairly easily. It just used to be much harder, and required a lot more work, to manipulate pictures, now just about anyone can do it!

Ha! I sure wouldn't mind being "digitally manipulated" a few sizes smaller!

Yeah I know of those softwares, I wondered if that wasn't what it was. That girl sure looks like she is struggling though with that cat in her lap (she could be an actress though).

I sure hope that this picture isn't real. No one should let their pets get this fat.

I think it could be real. There used to be a cat just like that in a pet store by my house. He was orange too - his name was Pumpkin. They told us he weighed something like 40 pounds. Poor thing I always felt so sorry for him. His fur was all matted as he couldn't clean himself very well. But he seemed pretty happy and was around for years..I even wonder if that picture could be of him!

Believe it or not, I've seen a cat near that size of the cat in the picture. Its really sad to see them in that condition. The cat I saw had problems even walking
