    Hi from the Jazzcat Gang!

I don't know if anyone noticed but I haven't posted in a few months. I've lurked off and on but just haven't had time to properly reply to anyone's posts. Things have been busy and hectic. My Dad turned 85 on June 3 and his health has been up and down. Yesterday he fell while walking at the park and we spent the day at the ER. He's okay but very bruised, scratched and cut up. He has a huge bump on his head, a split lip and a black eye. His siezure medication level had gotten too high and it makes him lethargic, confused and clumsy - hence the fall.

Anyway, since this is the cat board I will get on to the cats. I still have all seven of my little beasties and they are all well. Even 15 year old kidney patient Ripley is hanging in there. The kittens are now coming up on 10 months old. They are quite the handfuls!

    On with some pictures.

Kitten #1, Moxie Moo (who still has to nurse on my hand every night).

Kitten #2, Decker - he's very large and very sweet!

    Old Man Ripley

Jazz, who turned 5 last month.

    Scout

    Rocky, sleeping as usual.

    Rumor in her laundry basket.

    More in next post.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Hoping everything gets straightened out for him quickly.

Love the pictures!! How fast the newest kittens have grown up. Wasn't it just yesterday that Rumor and Rocky were wee ones?

I have miss you and all the other oldies that seem to have vanished on us around here. Thanks for checking in with us and showing all the fur babies looking as wonderful as ever.

I hope your Dad gets over that fall.... at that age, that is the last thing he needs to be doing (falling down).

Did you hear a thud? That was Biddy White Whiskers fainting after seeing the beautiful Moxie!!! I told him (when he revived) to stop playing favorites that ALL those kitties are gorgeous.

Oh yes I noticed and no word of a lie, I was going to send you an e-mail.
I'm glad to hear that you and your furkids are doing well.
I'm glad that your Dad is doing well despite the terrible fall he had.

I'm very happy to hear that Ripley is still hanging in there.

I cannot believe how BIG Decker has gotten. Holy Cow!!!! I just can't wait to see how much bigger he gets once he reaches adulthood.

Ummmmmm, my Rumor has gotten, lets just say, a bit fluffy since the last time I saw her, but that close up picture of her is absolutely beautiful.

All your crew are absolutely adorable Lori. Loved all the pictures.

It's great to see a post from you.

How nice it is to see you back Lisa and so very sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope he is on the mend quickly.

Thank you for posting pics of your sweet babies. Are any of them up for grabs???
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    I really hope your dad is ok, Lisa! {{{{hugs}}}}

I can't believe the size of the two kittens! Decker has become a lovely Russian blue type, and Moxie is a lovely tuxie girl.

    They are all so wonderful!

    Thank you for sharing!

Welcome Back! I just kind of returned myself after a VERY long bout of illness. OMG I cannot believe how those kittens have grown. Good to see all you kitties again!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
