how do i find out how many of a certain breed is registered in the AKC, all i can find is what number they are ranked

You're welcome. You can also look up individual dogs at no charge through their online store if you know their name. It will give you the dogs name, registration number and titles or the number of points or legs they have toward their titles.

You do have to register, but you won't get any junk mail from them.
