    DALMATION with bladder stones

IMOM is trying to help Petey.

Petey is a 7yr old rescued male Dalmatian, he has been diagnosed with urinary stones, crystals and a bad bladder infection. He has seen the vet and been catheterized to “buy” him some time. Surgery has been scheduled for Friday! Let's make sure Petey can be there!

If you can help, have ideas how how to raise funds, or have had experience with bladder stones, I'm sure his family would love to hear from you.

The IMOM Community Forum has moved. I'm not sure, but you may have to register to get to Petey's thread and follow his progress. Petey Lohneis

Oh how awful! I can't help for suggestions but I know that after the surgury he NEEDS to eat very little purines and drink lots of water. Here is a list (from the DalmatiAn Club of America) of what foods are high and low in purines.
