    Pics of Kitties on HIGH!

In the eight years Freckles and I have been together, this is one of her favorite things.

There is a counter next to the fridge so it's an easy giant step for her to get up and down.

    Any other high kitties?

LOL!! Joan, Mimi and Butter have nothing to use as the "half step" to the top of the refrigerator, but I'm sure if they did, they would use it constantly!!

My former cat, Shrimp Boat (RB), loved to get up on the top of the refrigerator!! I have numerous pictures of her in that spot! It was warm, it was away from the dog, and she thought it was the best sleeping spot ever!!!

    Freckles is too cute!!

All four of my cat boys love the top of the 'fridge'. I've had to take everything off of it though because they have shoved things off on my head from time to time. OUCH!!!

LOL Freckles seems to be saying "Ok, who put flowers in MY favorite sleeping spot!??!"

Here are pictures of Tubby on HIGH. These were taken when he was between 1 and 2 years old. I just love looking at these pictures because he is so young, but he looks exactly the same as he did then. Oh, if we could all age so gracefully.

He used the counter to get to the top of the refrigerator, then took it one step higher to the top of the cabinets. His head actually hits the ceiling.

Here's one more from a different point of view.

And the final one. I was probably doing dishes or something and he had to check it out.

Hope these come through since I'm trying them from my homepage through MSN. MSN isn't too friendly in matters like this, so we'll see. Ok, I don't think this is going to work.
Let me know if anyone can see these pictures. I can if I click on the red x and click on "show picture" but that's probably only because I've got the originals here on my computer. Why is MSN always so difficult.

Oh, and if anyone else can see them, I'll have to resize them (either later tonight or tomorrow) so they fit on the page better.

Update 4:55 pm. I moved them to our Earthlink website. Earthlink is more friendly than MSN, but doesn't give me as much space. Let me know if they work now.

Update 7:30 pm. Resized and on Earthlink. Seems to be working for me, please let me know if anyone can't see them yet.

That's a great picture of Freckles. She's a gorgeous cat. Actually everyone's pics are great. I don't have any pics of my babies in high places. Storm has jumped on top of the refrigerator before. He scared my roommate once when he was up there.LOL

Thanks, Lynne. I thought they'd come through now and you confirmed it. I love pictures of high kitties. They are so funny that they need to get up high like that. The one that's really amazing is the one Sasvermont has of Graemer (I'm assuming) on top of the door!!! You can see it in the signature of her posts. It's not only amazing that he's up there, it's amazing that he can stay up there! They have such good balance. Ann, the picture of Titti looks like the one of Tubby looking over the cabinet. Aren't they the cutest!

Maya loves high places, she especially loves the top of the kitchen cabinets ... it's the only way she can get away from Foxy. The problem is she is not an agile cat (to say the least) so now if she wants to jump up or down she meows so we can either lift her up or, when she wants to come down, she meows so that we bend slightly so that she can jump on our back and then down to the floor. We say she's the first cat using an "elevator"!

Awww, Gio, that's so nice of you guys to help your baby to still get up where she can't herself anymore. I can just see you bending over and having this cat step down on your back, then jumping down to the floor. LOL They do get less agile as they get older. Tubby is going through the same thing and we do what we can to help him when he wants to get up or down. Terry is always worried when he sees Tubby jump down from someplace 'cause he figures Tubby's bones are getting more fragile as he gets older and he doesn't want Tubby to hurt himself. He's such a good daddy.
