It woke me up and I ran to the door well. It seemed short and
none of my hanging lights were moving. I thought maybe I was
wrong and it was a sonic boom. I haven't turned on the news yet.

As Page, Plant and the boys would say....

    Ain't nobody's fault but mine

    It was a good one.

The house started to move a bit, then it just kinda snapped.

You start looking at things move and before you know it, it's over.

Actually you are looking at when it's gonna stop and where you are going to run to.

Nope, it lasted about 10 seconds -it really moved.

The ones that last longer are the ones that do the damage.

The 'nice' things about quakes is that they are all of a sudden and all your stuff is left in a pile.

Twisters, tornadoes and hurricanes (why do the call them "hurry" canes - it seems like they take their time passing over...) let you know they are coming and leave your stuff all over god's green acre.

We have to be easily amused over here. It's the only way to survive!

Just over the wires.....A bridge off the 14 Freeway was damaged.

    Be thankful.
The ones that you are awake for will make you wish you were knocked out.
