    Poor Inky Pinky....

This morning I noticed that my Inka wasn't behaving as usual. She ate a tiny bit, then went to nap. Then she started to vomit. It was no food, more like saliva. This was accompanied by a scream . At luch, she ate her normal wet food; but she kept giving up that saliva regularly (no food in it).
I got so worried when she started to "hickup" too....!

I phoned our vet and she was able to see her within one hour.
Inka was really great at the vets. Luckily there is nothing wrong with her lubgs, or stomach. No fever too. But she has a troat infection! It hurts so she is constantly swallowing.
The vet gave her a shot with anti-biotics and a precription for pills for the next 5 days. Oh my, she is such a difficult cat to pill ....

I hope she gets better soon, and also that my other cats do not get it too.

    Poor little Inky Pinky.

But you are such a good meowmie that you noticed right away. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in real quick so she feels better soon!

Oh, poor Inka! I'm glad you noticed right away and was able to get her to the vet. Hopefully, the antibiotic will get rid of it soon!

Poor Inka, good thing she's got a good mommy who notices these things, especially before the weekend hits.

Hoping for a speedy & full recovery for that sweetie!

    UPDATE

First pill is down her poor troat now ; she did NOT like me pilling her at all. She tried to spit the pill out, but I rubbed her chin, and made her swallow. You should have seen the surprised look on her face .
Let's hope now thatshe doesn't rememberhow I did that tomorrow

I had to laugh reading about you giving her that pill... I have pills to give Chester and I have had them for a week.... Had a wart burned off my left index finger and it is sore, raw and still hurting... NO WAY I can scruff him and get a pill down him with one hand and I have one of those pill poppers things. I am running out of time and will have to today or tomorrow....

Good thing you caught it and got her to the vets before it got worse. Inka baby, take all your meds and get well soon!
