Karen, just a little revelation...I kiss my two and let them kiss me all the time and the bad part is I'm allergic to dog saliva! I sometimes walk around with red welts for a while. Hahaha

I believe that this morning Killian "came out of the woods"! He was anxiously waiting for me to open the patio door for him this morning. I thought he really had to go, but no.........he knew there was a rabbit out there. He was out the door in a flash (even beating Shiloh) and ran after the rabbit. The rabbit ran under the fence safely into the next yard. He is back to his old speed.
Hmmm, I wonder if this rabbit is the one who I saved that winter being stuck in my fence??? It used the same route of escape (but this time under the fence, not through it).
    Remember that winter?

Woo hoo! Out of the woods and into the fields....chasing a rabbit! Killian, you never cease to amaze me! Your turn a round is nothing short of a miracle! I'm thrilled beyond words! And yes, Sue...I sure DO remember that infamous bunny rabbit adventure!! But, it's worth a second read, which is where I"m going right now! Have a GREAT day, Killian! WE LOVE YOU!!

You know, if it was the same rabbit ........ maybe it came back to show you it had lost weight and could now fit through the fence??? (yes, I know NO SNOW to hamper it ...... but I thought it sounded better!)

Whooooo Hoooooo Killi - chase those rabbits gorgeous boy!!
    (Don't catch one tho!!)

I'm sorry I just saw this thread and I am sure glad Mike isn't home to yell at me for crying. Dang Killi, you scared the snot out of me (not like you didn't your Mom). I'm so glad you're feeling better Killi man....and leave the poor rabbits alone. I will say I'm glad to hear that you're back to your old speed. Keep up the good work and be a good boy and take your meds.

Sue, you are such a great mom...Killi has the best Mom for the job.

Thank you all again, Everyone. You are my strength!

This episode just shows me that his liver disease is progressing (and we know it will). I was thinking how well he had been for a while, eating and playing again like before. Then this. OK, back to reality. This time he pulled through. This was the second biggest scare of my life with him (the first being poisoned by Metronidazole and going into detox ). I was already crying because we thought he was dying right then and there (and when it happens it will be like that, I hear....feeling fine, then wham, dead in a week). So please forgive me for getting hysterical when these severe episodes happen, because I know that he won't recover from the final one. I trust in you all for the prayers to pull him through and I believe that is why he recovers. So again, thank you all so very much. Killi sends his love and slurps. (Shiloh, too, because she HAS to be involved in everything!)
Love and hugs to you all!!

My heart cries for you, Sue....Please never apologize...I freaked out with Cody at the smallest thing, and you've been through so much. I admire you both for your strength and love. You're lucky to have such wonderful furkids, and they're lucky to have such a devoted mom!
