I just dislike the people who dress a certain way or do something just so they can become cool.
I just don't understand how someone can be bothered so much by what somewhat else is wearing. As long as their boobies or butt is hanging out for you to see WHO CARES!! If they want to be "cool" then let them look like idiots trying. If anything you can get a good laugh out of it. If they want to look stupid then let them, but why should it bother you? Maybe I was just too busy in high school, but I never cared about other peoples clothing long enough for it to bother me.

Everyone is themselves. They want to be that way, so they act/dress that way!
If they do it "just to be cool" - so be it.
You or anyone else does not know why or who they are doing it for, unless you are somehow in their mind.

That was a kind thing to do for your friend Prima

    Ubassoon your right...

If you're listening to this song
You may think the chords are going wrong
    But they're not
We just wrote it like that

When you're listening late at night
You may think the band are not quite right
But they are, they just play it like that

It doesn't really matter what chords I play
What words I say or time of day it is
As it's only a Northern song

It doesn't really matter what clothes I wear
Or how I fare or if my hair is brown
When it's only a Northern song

    If you think the harmony
Is a little dark and out of key
    You're correct, there's nobody there

And I told you there's no one there

I finally thought of the moral of this thread

*Wear what you want, live your life the way you want, Stay open to different types of people, and if you want to "pose" as someone go right ahead but with caution!*

    I think that's right.

Thank you Ubasoon for posting on this thread. I look at "posers" a little differently now

It's sad anyone has to do so "with caution" these days.

Yea well we wouldn't have to if everyone was open to different people.

HUH? That doesn't make sense... Are you saying you're close-minded then?

Afterall, you're the one who made this thread about "Posers".

I have read the posts.....and the only thing that comes to mind is "thank God I am not going through that anymore".

While 'growing old' might be a pain in some ways, I am so dern glad I don't give a flip what anyone wears, how they wear their hair, who they like/don't like. As long as someone is nice to me, respectful, considerate, I like them.

Although the people/kids that stare at Binx make me want to slap them upside their scrawny heads...

The reason most of us as people use labels is the fact that there has to be someway to rember things. Not all labels are bad. There's a fine line between using lables to identify people and using labels to tell you how a person, does, is, acts. Each person is different but all the same. Our brains no matter wether we want to or not uses labels. When a person says how they look online without seeing a picture our minds try to make a picture based on what we know...if I say I wear a halter top and short shorts...what comes to your mind? Isnt that too a label of some sort?

I dress how I want and I reallly don't care what anyone else thinks...course I dress pretty normal so I don't get many looks (except maybe for my ugliness).

One thing though...can somebody explain to me this new trend in like "fake" companies and stuff? It drives me nuts! Everyone has shirts that say crap like "Surf Sun Motel" or some messed up name of a company, place, team, etc. that we all know does not exist. Why I say, why??
