Notice that Vick found Jesus....
He didn't find God because God spelled backwards is......
Heard on the news this morning that David Letterman was commenting on Leona Helmsey leaving 12 million to her dog. DL said the dog was going to use it to sponsor fights between NFL players :p
Oh, good for her! Are the dogs going to kill the ones that aren't good enough?Quote:

Okay...so Whoopie is getting into the action:

what little respect I had for Goldburg just whoopied out the window.
I'm so sick of celebrities PUSHING their views down the throats of people. Alec Baldwin, Kim Bassinger, Daryl Hannah, Tom Cruise, Whoopi, Rosie. ack
disgusting.
I wonder if this will be the downfall of Whoopie's tour of duty on the view??
UGH, you have GOT to be joking!! How can they POSSIBLY think they can justify his actions by saying its "part of his cultural upbringing"?! So you're saying if part of my cultural upbringing was being racist and having blacks as slaves, and I was caught having a black slave, that would be ok?!?!?!Quote:

She tries to justify his behaviour. It's how Vick was brought up...that part of the country.Quote:

I think the link doesn't work b/c for some strange reason there is an extra http:// in it at the end - if you edit it might workQuote:

The Humane Society is auctioning off his talking points.
After reading the article I think Whoopi wanted to do something sensational on her first day to create controversy and get attention. It's sad she picked the Vick case as a publicity stunt. I'm sure she can't believe what she was saying. She's worse than RosieQuote:

I'm from a rural Kentucky town. Therefore, I guess I must be pregnant and on welfare...I wish I had known this! Just because of where you live and the fact a certain action (like dogfighting) is seen or done there often, doesn't make it right.
I don't want to be stereotyped as a certain way just because I'm from a rural area and now Goldberg is saying that it's okay for him to dogfight because that's why people from around there do? A thumbs down for her in my book, on the dogfighting account and another one down because of the okaying of stereotyping.
I never watch The View anymore and haven't in a long time. I'm glad, though, they have reminded me why I stopped. :p
