Good for him! I can tell he's enjoying it - and he looks fit too. :) I used to hicth hike quite a lot in my 20 ties, mostly with a girlfriend, but I've done it alone too. :eek: You get to meet so many wonderful people and see places you wouldn't have. :) The longest distances I hitched was Puttgarden-Basel (I got a lift in a red Porche :D) and London-Manchester - alone!
