    Thank you Karen
I can relate totally to your
    heartfelt thoughts and emotions
I appreciate you on SO many levels
    You are a sweetheart and
an inspiration on So many levels
    I have been so
    Very changed in
    the past year
    So many deaths
    Life changing surgery
Violent crime has touched our lives
    Things my crazy, weary heart
    Never expected
    You are wonderful
    I will double down,
    I need to be stronger
    Definately kinder and
    that will take time
    Wish you and everyone
    Love and strength.

Bury yourself in blankets and fleece
    Sometimes too bone-weary life is
    And only sleep
    No chocolate or tea or
Okay, maybe a wagging welcome-home burst
    Of canine enthusiasm
Or a feline escort, tail proudly held high
    To the front door
    Or the right hug
    Can bring me back
From the edge of the void

Sending Love when you need it
Strength when you feel yours failing
And kindness of a cat's purr
    To comfort you.
