    Thursdays #699 - Let's rent a movie or two...

I heard on the radio this morning that the first Blockbuster Video store opened on October 19, 1985. I'm making popcorn if someone would like to pop in a movie or stream one. There's a new multiplex at our local high-end shopping mall where you can have a beer or a gourmet coffee with your film, so I don't have a particular drink of the day in mind.
I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

"We consume our tomorrows fretting about our yesterdays." -- Persius, first century Roman poet

I've got the tea on this morning and a strong desire to watch Eat, Pray, Love. Cali is keeping her Meowmie company early this morning.

I have some lovely spiced chai if anyone wants some to share!

I will be making Brown Sugar Bunnies - though will make some fall leaf shapes as well as bunnies for a gathering tomorrow, and there's banana bread in the kitchen!

Love banana bread. Do you have just plain black tea?
We are watching old and new scary Halloween movies, and "Halloween Wars" on the Food Network.
