It's not a sarcastic face. It's an eye-rolling face. I take it to be the same thing as rolling your eyes and laughing when your kid or you dog does something silly and cute.

I was telling her that my dog Pepper does the same thing her dog does. It's a cute, silly thing to do. When Pepper does it, I laugh and roll my eyes at her. Wouldn't you?

Sheesh, lighten up, hon. It was just a conversation about cute, silly things our dogs do. No need to overanalyze it to death.

Thanks. She's a goofy little thing. She is chihuahua and smooth fox terrier, most likely. She was abused when I got her, and it took her a long time to come out of her shell. But she's a trooper now.

What problems have you had with chihuahuas?

The only thing that really comes to mind is luxating patella, a problem with the knee cap. It is somewhat common in small dogs.

Remington is beautiful, I love the dark eyes and the black nose. I do love Chihuahuas, they are such a loyal breed, and the saying about their courage is true. I guess you know that already though don't you? If they were the size of a Doberman........, But yes I love the markings on Remington. Hope I spelled that right, if I didn't I am sorry. My memory doesn't last from one page to the next. LOL.
I must say Pepper is a real cutie, but I guess you know that too. Well I have told you things you already knew, so I guess I will be quite. LOL

Omg! Toto , Pepper and Remington and Lola are soooooooooo cute ! Tiny is sitting in my lap thinking she would like to play with them ! She has got a chihuahua grin on her face and is wagging her tail !

Thanks, they are realy cute, and both so different I guess I'll have to wait and see how my little pup grows. a pic of Lola is included, she is 6months old and her hair has all of the sudden begun to grow...

one more question, I see that other members' pics of their pets are smaller when downloaded and mine are huge. I'm not computer savvy so if anyone knows how to make my pics smaller, please do tell

I am not very computer savvy either. Those huge pictures are real slow to load on dial-up modems. Thank goodness PT makes them the right size after they get here!

I use the PictureIt microsoft program that comes free at walmart when you have them make a disc. It is real cheap, like $3.84 to have a roll of 35mm developed onto a CD, no prints. They give you an index of little pictures with the disc.

Then when you put the CD in your computer there is a slide show, and you can resize any picture to JPEG or the right size to e-mail (40-140 K), it's in format. It's a simple program to learn!

I just love your little baby, she is beautiful! What is her personality like?

Lolita (Lola for short) is full of spunk. She is a very mellow dog but can assert her self with other dogs quite nicely. She is very social with other dogs as well. In the last few weeks she has been barking at strangers at the door and sometimes at other dogs(usually big dogs). She is alot of fun. How is your chi. Tiny's temperment? Alot of my friends have chi's. and each are totally different. A friend of mine just purchased a stud for Lola to mate with, he's a white long haired chihuahua, it'll be awhile though, he's only 8 weeks old...

My mom just got a new chi this week. She has a little 2.2 lb female named Chloe, and now she got her a little "brother". Mom says he's about 3/4 lbs! She's trying to decide on a name. He has huge attitude, so she's thinking maybe "Harley" or "Vinnie". Any suggestions?

Just want to say welcome to PT Lola's mom!!! I do not have a chi but, subscribed to the thread while browsing through seeing so many beautiful and cute chi's. I have shih-tzu named April, she is a real sweety and thinks she is human. She is certainly treated human. LOL Any way, good to see new names and pets at PT. I hope you will enjoy Pet Talk and find all kinds of good friends to share about your baby with and lots of useful information. Tell me more about your Lola. I haven't seen a picture yet.

Thanks to all of you . I really love hearing about your sweet babies . I think all dogs have different personalities . Like humans are different .
My tiny is sweet little baby too. She seems to go through changes every day . I thought she was never going to stop the constant chewing !
Now that she almost 6 months old she has slowed down on the chewing ,and became more of a snuggle bug .
She barks when she hears sounds outside . Barks at people when they come to the door , if they come in , she is up in their laps licking them !
She is full of energy ! I have no idea how that little tiny body has so much energy stored in it !
She is always doing funny things . She seems to get happier ,when she makes me laugh !
PLease keep sharing your story about your babys with me . I do love hearing about them . They all sound so sweet ! Also keep posting you pictures of your beautiful babies !
