Thank you for all your encouragement.

When the photographer was here for the photo shoot, he, of course, would not touch his food. She took a lot of pics of him. I hope she got a good one. He really didn't look like his old self. I can't wait for the story to come out! After she left, I gave him some roasted chicken that I had to hand feed him with Shiloh next to him in competition for the food. He ate some! This morning I found Steak-ems (ugh!) in the freezer that my son bought, so I cooked up the whole box and fed him (and Shiloh) Steak-ems and swiss cheese. Sheesh, WHEN he eats, he eats better than me!
Thanks for the tidbits soaked in soup idea, Sandra. I will try that, too. Today I'm going to try just some ground beef and hand feed him. At least now he is eating a little! My son is home today, so Killi's eyes are shining a little brighter for a while! And we go on....

    Sue,

Just checking in to see how Killian is doing today. Wow,
Steak-ums & cheese, sounds pretty good to me.
I'm praying right along with everyone else that this
setback is just temporary. We love you Killi. Liz.

Sue, my heart is aching for you as I read these posts. I am so, so sorry you are going through all this. You truly deserve the Mother of the Century award.

I pray Killian starts eating again and gets much better soon. I so much appreciate the support you gave me for the short time I had Nookie. The postitive part about this is you can help educate and support people who's dogs have this disease.

You and Killian are both strong and will overcome this setback. Take a deep breath and try not to stress yourself out. There are so many postitive thoughts and prayers going out for Killian that I am sure he will be eating in no time.

Oh Sue! Hope you and Killian had a good weekend. How is the dear pup doing? Has his appetite gotten any better?

Hope to hear an update soon.

Still very weak appetite. He'll eat a little (mushy stuff) and then stop. This morning I gave him some canned Nutro with braunshweiger and bacon grease. He ate a little, but I had to chase him around the house to do that. I hope this lack of appetite is just from the pills and not a liver issue.

Yesterday Shiloh threw up her guts (sorry, when she up-chucks, that's how she does it!!)! I can't believe how much stuff she had in her stomach!! Today she is fine though.

Thanks for the prayers, all, please keep them coming....

Killi, sweet baby boy...why aren't you eating?? I hope you start feeling better really soon. You are such a lucky boy to have such a caring mom who makes food especially for you. We're thinking of you everyday and will say prayers for you until you start eating and feeling better.

Sue, you are such a devoted mom. Keep up the good work and know that we're here for you for moral support.

Hi Killian. Try your best to eat a little, handsome boy. We are all praying that you'll be feeling better very soon, sweetie. We know you couldn't ask for a better, more loving Mom. Know what Killi???? Star***Shine asked me to send you her bestest Labbie butt wiggle and a big, wet, SLURRRRRRRRP!! Her paws are crossed daily, right along with Cody's and mine, praying that you'll be feeling better very soon! Love, Aunt Sandra, Cody Girl and Star***Shine.
