If they act like children, then treat them like children! So, since mine act like kids and we don't have any human kids, then they become our kids
!
I talk to them like children - it isn't just "Lexi, NO!" Or "Maddie, SIT!" (well, after I get mad then it is...)
It's more like "Lexi, sit your butt on that floor!" "Maddie, get out here now!" "How's my girls today?" "Mommy will be back soon so behave!" "Are you guys hungry for dinner?"
I talk to them, hug them, kiss them, buy them cute little toys every chance I get, call hubby "daddy" and I am "mommy" - we worry about them being home alone - REALLY WORRY! - and it even comes down to not having any peace in the bathroom. Most of you parents out there should relate to that..... if you leave the door cracked then that is an invitation for the dogs to come and jump in your lap when you are on the toilet!!! So there you are pushing them down and then walking with your pants around your ankles to shoo them out and shut the door.... pretty funny. My gosh, I hope I'm not alone on this one... if so then I just gave more information than I needed to![]()
