I said its "almost" as much as the price for a budgie. I've seen budgies for $30, but they are most commonly sold for between $15-$30 depending on the color. Blue and green budgies can cost as little as $15. A white budgie, or a multi-colored one can cost $20-$30. An english budgie is normally sold for $50 +. They look EXACTLY like a normal budgie but they are larger (almost the size of a tiel).Originally posted by tikeyas_mom

Juat my two cents. If you can't afford for a bird, don't get it. Personally, my parents pay for everything that has to do with my birds (vet trips, toys, food, treats, accessories, everything). I only pay sometimes, but I'm not forced to, as in, if I don't pay, I'm not getting it. (I do it with my own choice.)
? So dont bring my rabbit into this. I am getting a bird for $30.00 from a breeder. What is sooooo bad about that?
..I still cant even believe you brought my Angel bunny into this post, about A cockatiel that I wanted advise on what color I should get. I said Allready that my mom wont let me get any more pets intill I get that JOB I APPLIED FOR>> CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT>?? Geeze. .
Thats her choice
