How is Puddy?

She's rather lethargic and a little weak but that's to be expected. I gave her the subQ treatment and her meds just about a half hour ago, so that usually perks her up. She went and sat in the sun in the enclosed patio which kinda bothered me a little because I call it the kidney corner. It's where my Peeka laid when she was dying from acute renal failure. So I have to get that idea out of my head. Puddy was just probably soaking up the rays; it probably felt good. She's resting behind my computer again and I have to go to the bank, so I'll check on her again when I get back. Thanx for asking.

I'm sorry to hear about Puddy. I hope that the Phosphorous binder will help. I'm dealing with nasty tasting meds for Tiger too and if I come up with a solution, I'll pass it on! Going to pick up some stinky cat tuna and clam juice today. I wish the drug companies would create flavoress meds. They'd make a fortune and it would be so much easier for us and our cats.
Hope the ultrasound doesn't show anything negative with regard to her other kidney. You've sure got alot on your plate right now. Prayers for you and Puddy.

My little girl just isn't feeling well. She just can't get comfortable and seems to either want to be left alone or w/me when she isn't alone. She's so weak, she can't even jump up on the sofa w/me. I've done so much crying these last few weeks, it's ridiculous. My Puddy just means the world to me. I can't lose her now. I just can't. It would just be too cruel.

Mary, MANY prayers for Puddy!

Would Dr Lee tell you what he expects to find with an ultrasound? It might be treatable, whatever it is.

It may be too soon to think about it - but I wonder what cat dialysis involves?

There is life and hope! Please, God, Mary needs her Puddy so very much right now. Restore Puddy to full health, that she and Mary may comfort each other.
