How did you find Petoftheday???

I was looking up yellow lab pictures on Google, one of the pictures was for a yellow lab Dog of the Day, I followed the link to Pet Talk and snooped around for a couple of weeks then joined (back in 2002)

petoftheday.com always pops up in multiple image searches because of all the pets of the day! One day I clicked "click here to talk about todays dog at pet talk" or something and was hooked!

I was looking at pictures of Tollers on google and found dog of the day and Pet Talk

I found it through a basset hound forum. One of the dogs there was Dog of the Day, and the owner posted a link. What is really funny is that I frequent this site, but I only look at that basset site occasionally now.

In Nov 2003, I was dealing with the 2nd year anniversary of my RB Willie's death (he died on Nov 9, 2001). It was so painful feeling alone in dealing with it, and after a few days, I was overwhelmed with a need to find a place that shared my love for pets, so I did an internet search for "pet message board" and Pet Talk was one of the first hits. I checked it out, going straight to Dog General, and never left .
