Not at all actually, she stood there with a hangdog expression looking pitiful while I put them on and then walked funny. She tugged at the front ones a little bit with her teeth but otherwise left them alone. That's another reason I didn't bother with Tommy though, I know he'd never rest until they were off .

Major does that too. I think I'm going to get him some boots...but I know he won't like that. However, if we're on a walk, he won't have much say

Cass, when I first put the halti on Major, he always moved his head back and forth so I couldn't even try to get it on him. I think I wasted a couple weeks by just putting it on him and giving him a rawhide to chew. I'd just let her get used to it for a week maybe, and then just go out and walk her. It worked for Major, and now He just stays still (well, he turns his head to the side) when I try to put it on. He's very good about it.
