I remember when I was a kid I used to ask my Dad if we could live on a ranch because I wanted lots of horses. I never got my dream but I can live it through horsie pics on Pet Talk.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
Thanks!
TMB - They're not all 'my' horses, only Rio, Juno and Jerry are actually mine, but I've ridden most of themI used to lease Merlyn before I had my own horses, and I looked after Gadget when his Mom was having a baby

Yea, it always depends on the nature of the horse...I ride a thoroughbred (retired racehorse!) named Busta at my horseback riding lessons, and he is AWESOME!! He's really sweet, and does almost anything you ask him to do. Of course, many thoroughbreds are more wild in nature...you just have to find the right one!Originally posted by ComedyDevil
Thanks
BBL - I love Thoroughbreds too. I'd like to own one someday, especially if he's as nice natured as Duke![]()
