We have roadrunner. We can't afford both cable TV and cable internet, even though the cable company does offer a package deal. Since we can only afford one or the other we decided we needed cable internet.

I have dial up . Its cheap 14.00 a month our provider sold a while ago anfd the price is still the same . The parent company is from Canada but we are billed from a local place . its 360 networks.
My son has dsl from Centry tel (what else does he have to spend his money on) in his room.
I have dial up for now but when we get our new house finished I am getting cable
I use copper.net its 9.95 a month and for it to be dial up its pretty good I never knocked off and maybe every once in awhile have trouble connecting but what dial up doesn't ....I am quite pleased with this dial up ISP......Of course I will never be fully pleased with dial up since it is slow....![]()

I spend $30 a month for DSL, I really love it. I had dialup for the longest time, and now i would never go back.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
We have DSL; it's about 50.00 a month.
Absolutely adore it!
I have had DSL for about two years now and I had cable for 2 years before that. I recommend either but I prefer DSL because I could notice a definite slow down on the cable modem at busy times of the day. I prefer not to have to share by bandwidth. Of course on cable at 2 am that puppy smoked it went so fast.

Up until last November I didn't have a PC at home at all, but thanks to my obsession with Pet Talk, I purchased a second-hand one from work so I could feed my addiction through the weekends. I signed up with cable and got a pretty good package because I have cable TV. Our telephone company (Telus) was having troubles for the longest time so I decided to pass them over. I have not had any trouble with response time at all. I love it.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

DSL? Lol I think that's what we have. We have high-speed lol. On two computers, and the phoneline is always freeWe could NEVER go back to dial-up, infact, I think I'd rather have no internet, because I can't stand the wait. "My" computer is quite fast, whereas my mom's is sloooow. They're both high-speed, I think she just has a lot of junk on hers
Right now we have 3 computers hooked up to high-speed internet and it's great! When my brother leaves for university, we'll have 2 again. I think it's $30 a month, but I could be wrong. It could be $60. I'm really not sure
