For all of these reasons at one time or another.

Aspen and Misty! That's an answer you can relate to. Thanks!

Jen, I can relate to yours too, and you're brave to tell us!

Personally, I like to see who is on. Sometimes, you tend to forget about people who aren't visible.

I went invisible after someone pissed me off and sent me some nasty PM's. This way they didn't see me on line and give her the satafaction of knowing that I got her silly PM's. Sense I wasn't go to answer her back and play her silly childish games.

Not that she couldn't see that I was here when I posted ....Duhhhh. So I wasn't think.

Now I just stay that way even though, she long left PT, It still gives me that time to answer a PM later if I can't get to it right away. I don't want any one to say I was online but didn't get back to them, thinking I'm being rudd. I hate to have anyone think bad of me, It's just somedays you don't have time to do everything.

You can check to see if your messages are read. Doesn't matter if they are invisible or not. Just have to go to message tracking

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Yes but thats why they have that deny receipt line next to your messages, they can't track it. Right?

I'm invisible because I'm on for hours everyday. I just don't like reminding myself or others of how often I'm on here so I guess I set it to invisible lol.
