Here's my solution:



We built the new enclosure after we got Hanna (and two extra litterboxes), we built it out of pre-made finished shelving (about $12) and the bottom is flat plywood paneling (about $9 a sheet), glue and screws. The bottom (floor) is the paneling, and it wipes up easily. I use the dustbuster to pick up any kicked litter. The bottom looks like sand - but it's light paneling.

We had a smaller one when we had only two cats and two litterboxes.
