Wonderful news! They must be pretty smart to realize that not all animals run right up and 'act friendly' with humans. Once Leda gets into her new home, she'll figure out that it is the best place for her and will warm up to her new meowmie and pawpie.

Time is the best teacher and healer.

Way to go, Leda! (and thank goodness for folks who look beyond the superficial)

Good luck Leda in your new home! Congratulations to all!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

This is great. They sound like cat people to me.REAL cat people. Not needing the perfect (right away)lap cat. That's nice. And to tell you to watch her over Thanksgiving is great because they only trust YOU with her.So they already are worried about her. That's really good!
My BooBoo for 17 years pooped over the side of the box for the full 17 years.Because he never could sit the right way in the box and the poopys usually ended up on the side of the box or on the floor.(no biggy) And he was my only SOULMATE cat.So...I'm sure it will work out fantastic.

Thank You Kim for this wonderful siggy
