How are you able to givehim the med , I am allergic to the same can't even touch them. If animals around here need it we have real fun no one but me seems to get how to give meds.Hopeless men!!!! Glad to hear hes still staying even on the health issuses.

He's back! Shiloh was thrilled to see him. She's planted right next to him for now.

The count for today was three. The total count of all pulled teeth is 11!!! Killi was the talk of the office. One tooth was the biggest that they have ever seen! The vet showed me their tooth model and his teeth are just humongous in comparison. They gave me the tooth! The vet said that it was a good thing that we went ahead with the tooth pulling because two were abcessed and one's gum was receded way down. She showed all the vet techs how quickly and horribly Killi's mouth gets. He reacts so severely. He has only one large tooth left in the back of his mouth. Hopefully that one won't go soon.

Corinna, I can touch the capsule, but if it should break open, I'd better not breathe it in or touch it! I'll have to try pudding or baby food. That just might work! He's got 2 Clavamox to take at a time now. Oh, fun! I think I'm gonna go get that red wine that phred suggested....

Thanks for your prayers. Please keep them coming!

    Sue,

    I'm so sorry that I haven't checked in sooner. I didn't
know that Killian was scheduled to have more teeth
    removed. Poor Killian .

I sure hope that when his gums are not so sore, that
maybe, just maybe, food will taste good to him again.
Killian is never far from my thoughts & always in my nightly
prayers. Feel Better Soon Big Guy !!!! Love, Liz & Moki.

Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! As I've said a million times, you PetTalkers are the best!!

Killi ate a little mushy food and now he's sleeping again. He should feel so much better tomorrow! If the infection would have gone on longer, he would have gotten deathly ill. His liver doesn't remove the toxins and they would have spread throughout his system. That's scary!

Cinder and Smoke, how did you know they were gonna give me Killi's BIG tooth??? They told me to make a necklace out of it. LOL

Killi tells me, Aunt Sandra, that he would feel better if you told us about the embarrassing thing that cutie Cody did.......hmmmm???

Liz, he STILL doesn't trust me to give him anything!! Everyone else in the house is going to have to feed him. But, like you said, maybe when he feels good, he won't mind the pills hidden in the food I give him.

Sue, just wanted you to know that I have been thinking about Killian today, and I'm so glad that he is home and willing to eat some mushy food at least. I'll continue to keep him in my prayers (you too). Plenty of people eat without teeth. I'm sure Killian can master it too! What a terrific, loving mom you are!!!

By the way, I heard the Cody/Star story from Sandra on the phone today. I was about to fall out of my chair, laughing. I hope she can describe it as well in writing. Something tells me that she will!!!

Poor, darling Killi.. I hope this last procedure makes you feel better.... I'm having periodontal surgury in Jan so I think I just might high-tail (or high-butt..hee.hee) it over to your place so Mommy Sue can cook ME up some of her delicious, soft vittles, whilst I lay on the BIG BED cuddled up next to you on one side with Shiloh on the other. I'm sure Sue will just LOVE that!!! AND if we're all lucky, she can toss us some pill-free salami!!

Hehehehehe! You are all so funny!!!!!!!!

Poor Karen, I feel for you on your peridontal experience!!

Nice teeth on that pup! LOL

Ohhhh, I'm jealous..... I haven't heard the story yet, Sandra....

BTW, Killi won't take his pills or eat this morning. I know he wants to but.... I tried with braunschweiger, salami, cheese, grape jelly and ..........steak............he just runs. So I cornered him and tried to pry his mouth open, but noooooooo. I'm going to go try pork sausage now. He's got to give in sooner or later.

I can tell he feels better already. He is so much more alert and moving around more. Can't wait til he's all better.

    Thanks, everyone!

Mr. Killian will not eat anything I give him. Dear hubby had to hand feed him. His eyes are looking brighter and he is more active again!
