    This toy breed was bred for looks and use as a lap dog. They can be traced back 1000's of years. Theft of this breed was punishable by death in it's original country.

    it is a curly-coated dog, with long ears , webbed feet, and a fine working dog in the field and obedience ring. The breed became popular in the United States in the 1800's for duck hunting
