Mice are nice pets. They do smell though, males more than females. So your best bet is 2 or more females (they really need to be in groups or they are unhappy)

They are more fun to watch than to play with, but can be tamed to be held.

I love the feel of their tiny feel in my hand and their little skinny tail wrapped around my finger. And their whiskers are the cutest
