My dog likes to chew a lot too, although he does not chew furniture or stuff he's not supposed to. How old is your dog? He might just be at the puppy stage where he needs to chew. My cousins used to put pepper on all the stuff he used to chew, so every time he would sneeze he came near it, and did not want to chew on it or like Loraine said a bitter apple spray or something of that sort.
