It may be easier for you if you just let him go ahead and feed and then try to trap her with something like catnip or tastier food than canned cat food. Well, whatever you do, good luck! Make sure she isn't nursing before you trap her (as you know!) Doesn't sound like the shelter has many cats and since they take only their own, me and jan will have to come over and plant some colonies of strays from here, eh???? lying comes with rescue work, a lot of shelters are like that even when they have room!! (for heaven's sake- and other shelter's are overwhelmed, it's not fair- you could really help jan out here! We could meet in pennsylvania...?)
