Ask Mom do do a lil Advance Planning -
and the TV Folks might give you guys a Video of the Show!

Things that ALWAYS go over well with a TV Crew =

Kawfee & DoNutz (especially at 7 AM on a Monday!)

Have Mom wear a *nice* outfit -
with colors that won't *blend in* with the walls and furniture
in the 'partment.
Ya mite call Trisha and ASK what she'd suggest.

Prolly NOT a problem in YOUR Howze (MAJOR problem in OURS ) -
but have the room *tidy* & neat!

Have your Favorite TOY handy - so they can *attract yur attenshun*
an get you to *look atta camera*.

An tell Mom to NOT to *look atta camera*!
Dat usually makes da Hoomin all *nerbus* & *jittery*!
Often the Reporter will stand beside the Camera Person - and they
usually suggest the subject look AT the Reporter and NOT directly into
the camera. Looks very "natural" that way.
If you "talk to" the reporter; you'll forget about the camera!

Make some *notes* of what points YOU would like to cover in the
interview. Go over them with Trisha before the camera rolls.
Or she may TELL you in advance what she will be asking...
a good reporter will do a dry or practice run-through with you.

And when you're done;
be sure to ASK FOR a Video Copy of the final, edited program!
Sometimes they'll even include all the rough footage they took -
the *out takes* can be *interesting*!
