If you buy from Costco or www.costco.com you can return them if they aren't what you want. I had the Fuji s7000. It has a lot of CA, which is purple fringing, like around tree branches against a nice blue sky. I didn't like that you have to tell the flash to pop up. I wanted it to pop up when needed. I had the Canon G5, and it was better. But had CA also. Both can take all the pic's in row that you want, till the card is full. the s700 is a nice camera and now $499.00 The G5 is still like $550.00. These are Costco price only. You may find a better deal. I just like the return policy of Costco.
We have now setteled on the Canon s400 and Canon 300d. We wanted a big camera and a pocket one.
I have pics from all these cameras if you want to compair. The G5 was better than the s7000. But the Fuji is more user friendly and has more features that I liked.
