I am so glad Freckles is OK. My mother was out gardening one day, watching her favorite cat (an orange tabby, about 9 at the time) chasing one of his sisters around a tree trunk. Seconds later she looked up again to see him lying still on the ground. He was dead. Her vet said as suddenly as it was and as relatively young as he was it must have been a stroke. Take care your baby Freckles, she's a special one to have survived two (hopefully her last)!
