Suicide is a horrible thing and so many times you hear of it and there was no sign that anything was wrong. I have had very little of it hit close to me in my lifetime, but I did have one very close aquaintance that threatened it twice, but never went through with it, thank goodness.

Just this past fall, a member of our church, who we knew very well, committed suicide. He was 43 years old and left two children and his wife behind. We are very close to his family and it has been devastating for them to lose their son, father, brother, etc. There has even been anger at his choosing to end his life when so many people depended on him and loved him.

You just never know.
