Lizbud, actually they are usually really good about the figures, they don't usually bother them. However, last night I happened to look up and noticed that one was missing, luckily if they do knock them off, the figures either get stuck between the wall and the top of the condo, or they fall below to the carpeting. So far (knock on wood) they have yet to break one but they also like to use the top of the condo as a way to get onto the top of the mantle and to get to the top of the entertainment center, and it is one the tops of those places that they get into the most trouble.
